This study is a groundbreaking analysis of productivity in the Chilean copper mining industry, comparing the performance of the country’s 12 primary operations with seven leading mining operations worldwide. The report identifies 53 recommendations to improve productivity in the sector, including 34 specific to public policy and regulatory areas and 19 sectoral policy recommendations requiring the collaboration of stakeholders, such as mining companies, contractors, suppliers, and communities.
