The Executive Secretary of CNEP, Rodrigo Krell, is appointed Co-Chair of the OECD Global Productivity Forum

November 2023. The National Commission for Evaluation and Productivity (CNEP) assumed a leadership role within the OECD as its Executive Secretary, Rodrigo Krell, was named one of the organization’s three Co-Chairs of the Steering Group of the Global Productivity Forum (GPF).

The CNEP will play a crucial role in promoting policies on the international stage, for its Executive Secretary, Rodrigo Krell, was appointed as one of the Co-Chairs of the Global Productivity Forum (GPF) of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

The GPF aims to serve as a platform for exchanging information, developing institutional agreements and governance, creating research and analysis, and addressing the research needs of participating countries.

Its work program is guided by a Steering Group of founding OECD member countries and is supported and collaboratively led by three Co-Chairs. In addition to Rodrigo Krell, the other Co-Chairs are Ottavio Ricchi, Head of Unit at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Italy, and Stefan Profit, Deputy Director-General in the Department of Economic Policy at the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany.

Recently, the Global Productivity Forum Annual Conference 2023 was held for the first time in Chile. The conference brought together high-level officials from national and international organizations to discuss best practices and critical findings from cutting-edge research on policies affecting productivity.

It is worth mentioning that OECD Productivity Papers are associated with the work carried out by the Global Productivity Forum. Some of these papers include ‘The Green Side of Productivity,’ ‘The Role of Telework for Productivity during and after COVID-19,’ ‘The Human Side of Productivity,’ and ‘Productivity and Human Capital,’ among others.”
