Principles

GOVERNMENT AUTONOMY

The CNEP has a Council of five distinguished academics and professionals, each appointed by the President of the Republic for a three-year term. Rather than adhering to governmental directives, their recommendations are grounded in technical analysis and incorporate internationally recognized best practices in public policies.

TECHNICAL CAPACITY OF ANALYSIS

The Technical Secretariat of the CNEP consists of highly-skilled professionals with expertise in public management. They are dedicated to formulating recommendations grounded in thorough analysis and technical criteria, aiming to incorporate best practices in public policy.

TRANSPARENCY AND PARTICIPATION

A crucial aspect of formulating policy recommendations involves engaging in citizen consultations. This mechanism allows the public to contribute to the development of policies and proposals put forth by the National Evaluation and Productivity Commission in an informed, diverse, and representative manner, focusing on topics that boost the country’s productivity. The goal is to gather public input and generate a structured response to the consultation process.
